Biography
Born in Karachi on the 27th of December 1971. Completed Intermediate and departed for Malaysia where he undertook his Associate Diploma in Business Executive Studies. He proudly earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of Wales (UK), while studying in Malaysia.
Former Minister Information Technology (Govt. of Sindh) after which he took oath as the Mayor (Nazim) of one of the biggest Cities of Pakistan, Karachi, making him the youngest ever Nazim in the History of Karachi and Pakistan.

Awards
- Nominated as World’s second best Mayor in 2010.
- ‘Musawwar-e-Karachi’ for promoting Literature, Art and Music in the City of Karachi in 2009.
- Gold Medalist at City Thinkers Awards Ceremony July 2009 by the Journalist forum for outstanding performance as City Mayor.
- Notably praised by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in his efforts to make Karachi a well organized Mega City and carrying out Relief Operations.
Comeback and formation of Pak Sarzameen Party
After leaving Pakistan in August 2013, he returned from Dubai to Karachi, Pakistan on March 3, 2016, accompanying Anees Kaimkhani and holding a press conference in a rented house in Karachi’s posh area at Khayabane Sahar in Defence phase 6 Karachi on the same day at 3:00 PM.
In his famous press conference, Mustafa Kamal opened up about his lifelong personal experiences as a prominent member of a political party and what made him leave the country even when he was serving as a senator at the time. He discussed several controversies surrounding his previous party, the leader and his behavior towards the party members.

In the conference, Mustafa Kamal also disclosed the vision of a new party he is laying foundations of, the name of which is not decided yet. According to him, “Today we are laying the foundation of an organization, you may call it a party. We are just two individuals, myself and Anees Qaim Khani.” He also revealed the flag of his party which turned out to be the Flag of Pakistan. In his support several individual have contacted and showed support and also few more members from his previous party joined Mustafa Kamal’s team. According to Anees Qaim Khani they will continue to welcome people. In regards to future plans Mustafa Kamal disclosed that they will organize a public speech at Bagh-e-Jinnah near Mazar-e-Quaid Karachi.
Senator
In 2013, he was elected to the Pakistani Senate from Sindh.
Ministry of Information Technology
He served as the IT Minister for the Sindh province from 2003 to 2005.
Mayor of Karachi
He was chosen for Mayor Karachi and he worked very hard which made him very popular, successful amount Karachi people. He was shortlisted for the World Mayor Prize in 2010.
