Karachi, January 29: Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Friday felicitated Pakistan cricket team on its victory over South Africa after 7 years and especially appreciated the excellent performance of batsman Fawad Alam and bowler Noman Ali.
He said that despite the best performance in domestic cricket, Fawad Alam was forced to waste 10 crucial years, however his brilliant 100 runs on his comeback after a decade, and Noman’s taking 5 wickets in the first Test at the age of 34 is not only a slap in the face of the nepotism and favoritism – a system prevalent everywhere in the country. it is Evident that the murder of merit is not limited to sports but is the biggest problem in all walks of life.
Blocking the way of capable and deserving people is hostility to the country. History has shown that the destruction and ruin has been the ultimate fate of those nations who waste their capable and deserving people.
If the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is really against dynastic politics and nepotism, then he should establish the system of merit in the country.
By doing so, the country will not only move in the right direction, but the emergence of new leadership will end dynastic politics forever. He expressed these views in a congratulatory statement issued from Pakistan House on the national cricket team’s remarkable victory.
He further said that PSP believes in empowering the people and reforming the system by establishing merit instead of verbal promises.
With Establishing the system of merit, the country will move in the right direction and ultimately positive results would be yielded.
