Karachi, March 01: Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday said that the skyrocketing inflation has brought the middle and poor class to the brink of death. The country is running on auto, the incumbent government is unable to control inflated prices of essential commodities. While the formula for overthrowing and forming the government is being worked out through the ongoing political maneuvering in the country, the formula for eliminating inflation and unemployment and the devolution of power and resources to the grass root level should also be worked out, because the people can no longer bear one lie after another. On the one hand, the incompetent and corrupt federal government is depriving the people of their right to live, while on the other hand, the PPP’s biased provincial government is ensuring that no one survives except a few dynasties in Sindh.
From Karachi to Kashmore there is no drinking water, no treatment facilities, no garbage disposal, no jobs, no transport and no one can think of education. In the current regional context, the risk of civil disobedience has increased if the situation remains this bad. Enemy forces can directly benefit from this grim situation. The current federal and provincial rulers will be responsible for all this. The incompetent federal government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its allies and the provincial government of the biased PPP have pushed the entire country towards economic and social bankruptcy.
The priorities of the political parties in the parliament are to mint money and gain power instead serving the country and the nation. Pakistan’s development is not possible unless the powers and resources are devolved to the lowest level. The nation has done all sort of experiments, now there is no other option except PSP whose leadership is not only credible, competent and hardworking but it is offering workable solutions to all the problems of Pakistan. He expressed these views while talking on the occasion of joining of youth from District South to PSP at Pakistan House. He further said that Pakistan could no longer function under the present rotten system.
Attempts to run Pakistan further under a rotten system would cause irreparable damage. We have been pushing for institutional reforms in Pakistan for a long time through the Grand National Dialogue. The longer the rulers accept us, the more Pakistan will suffer.
